VUSUMUZI DLAMINI

Dr Dlamini, who holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, has more than 14 years’ industrial experience in the following fields: electrical engineering, energy management, project management, control systems and operational technology. This experience also includes energy and carbon management strategies; developing standards for energy management; identifying and leading the implementation of energy management initiatives.

He has served as a part-time lecturer and external examiner at the University of Pretoria and has published several research articles in peer reviewed journals; served as a reviewer and presented papers at local and international conferences. Dr Dlamini is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA); a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in the USA; and a Member with the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE).
