Monde Bala is the Interim CEO of the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA), bringing over 27 years of leadership in the power sector. Formerly Group Executive for Eskom Distribution, he has played a key role in the utility’s transformation. With engineering degrees from UCT and Wits, Bala now leads the NTCSA through Eskom’s unbundling process, driving operational efficiency and reinforcing grid stability in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
