Mike Teke

Mike Teke is the CEO and co-founder of Seriti Resources Holdings. He holds a BA (Ed), BEd, BA (Hons), and an MBA. Mike’s career includes HR roles at Unilever, Bayer, BHP Billiton, and Impala Platinum.

He co-founded Optimum Coal in 2007, serving as CEO and later Non-Executive Chairman. He was President of South Africa’s Chamber of Mines (2013-2017) and Chairman of Richards Bay Coal Terminal (2012-2016).

Currently, Mike is the Executive Chairman of Masimong Group Holdings, Professor of Practice at Johannesburg Business School, and holds several Non-Executive Chairman and Director roles across various companies.
