Xolile Msimanga is Secretary General of the South African National Energy Association (SANEA), where she leads strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and dialogue to strengthen South Africa’s energy future. She has over a decade of experience across research, consulting, and industry, including roles at Air Liquide South Africa, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), GIZ, and McKinsey & Company. Her expertise spans renewable energy procurement, market modelling, strategy, and negotiation. Xolile is committed to fostering inclusive leadership and collaboration in advancing the energy transition. She holds a Master of Management in Energy Leadership from Wits Business School, where her research focused on female leadership in the energy sector.
